Erlab™ Air Quality Risk Assessment
Assesment provides insight to the level of exposure in the lab and develops a holistic program to enable employees to breathe freely without being exposed to harmful chemical emissions or particulates.
Supplier: Erlab™ ERLBPARTASM
Description
- During the site assessment, a trained Erlab technician will measure the pollution factor in the laboratory using a portable PID (photo ionization detector) to identify chemicals and a particle counter to evaluate particulate contamination.
- Based on readings from both of these instruments, Erlab will then seek to determine the origins of the problems and will provide both verbal and written recommendations on how to safely resolve them.
- Exposure guidelines set by NIOSH, OSHA, and ACGIH (American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygenists) are not enough to keep employees safe as the cumulative effects of exposure have both short- and long-term health effects.
- Erlab experts have a to help make changes within laboratory environments in order to to help improve employee health and safety.
- A whole-room risk assessment creates an eye-opening experience that will help bridge the gap between compliance, safety, and safe breathable air
- Erlab experts will educate on:
- Level of exposure.
- Risks involved.
- Improvement recommendations.
- Plan to implement change.
