Description

Description

Specifically detects APC Clone: CC-1 in Human, Mouse, Rat samples, and it is validated for Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence

Germ line mutations in the APC gene are responsible for familial adenomatous polyposis and somatic mutations contribute to sporadic colorectal cancer. The 312kDa APC protein is expressed in all tissues and localized to the cytoskeletal architecture in an insoluble complex with β-catenin. The APC (Ab-7) mouse monoclonal antibody clone CC-1 decorates oligodendrocyte cell bodies, purkinje cells, astrocytes, and optic nerve cell bodies of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded, or fresh frozen sections from human, mouse, and rat brain. Dectection of APC (Ab-7) can be perfomed using immunofluorescence or immunohistochemistry techniques.
