- Features a BD Bard-Parker stainless-steel blade, nonslip grip, and a centimeter scale on the plastic, surgical-green handle
- Clear protective shield locks both when the blade is covered for protection before and after use, and when blade is uncovered for security and control during use
- Top button provides tactile sensation as well as an audible click to confirm lock; allows for left or right hand activation
- Indicator line offers visual confirmation of lock
