Thermo Scientific™ FH 40 TG Telescopic Probes

Measure dose and dose rate at a secure distance for all situations where an extended range is required or high radiation may occur.
Supplier: Thermo Scientific™ 4254051
Description
Measure dose and dose rate at a secure distance for all situations where an extended range is required or high radiation may occur with the Thermo Scientific™ FH 40 TG Telescopic Probe, which attaches to the Thermo Scientific™ FH 40 GL Digital Survey Meter.
- Simultaneously determines dose and dose rate measurement at the operator end while measuring dose rate at the teleprobe end
- Features a built-in speaker and the ability to log up to 256 measurements for later retrieval by a PC via infrared serial interface
- A large backlit digital display with an analog graph and menu-driven operator functions facilitate a user-friendly interface
- Modular design allows easy exchange of components
- Extendible up to 4m (approx. 13ft.)
- Reinforced, isolating fiberglass material, fully watertight
- Half the weight of conventional teledetectors
- Interchangeable probes for different measurement tasks
- “Smart probes” with individual calibration
- Standard detector FHZ 612 contains two energy-compensated GM tubes
- Acoustic alarm levels can be set independently for both detectors
- Options include 1 × 1in. NaI detector head for high gamma sensitivity, neutron “sniffer” detector head, and beta-sensitive probe; options also include aluminum case and FH 40 G-X
- Display-Unit (FH 40 G without internal detector)
Recommended for:
- Nuclear power plants
- Nuclear industry
- Recycling industry
- Emergency response
- Fire brigades
- Nuclear medicine
- Research
