Description
Graphite rod is basically used for casting and polishing purposes, moulding & Carbon addition in steel industries. It is also used for smooth casting iron, copper base alloys and aluminum base alloy. It is mostly used for evaporating carbon onto specimens being prepared for either x-ray microanalysis (EDS or WDS) or transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
