Description
Lectin phytohemagglutinin-L (PHA-L) is strongly inhibited by N-acetylglucosamine β(1-2) mannopyranosyl residues.[ALTREF PN29369] This lectin has been shown to agglutinate leukocytes and induce mitogenic activity in T-lymphocytes[ALTREF PN29369,PN29368] and has also been used as an anterograde tracer for the study of neuronal pathways.[ALTREF PN20284]
