Specificity: Mouse IgG2a Isotype Control (Clone C1.18.4) has been tested against selected species' cells & tissues to assure minimal cross reactivity. Immunogen: The immunogen is Trinitrophenol + KLH. TNP is a hapten not expressed on human, mouse, rat or non-human primate cells. In the absence of specific binding, this antibody may non-specifically bind to immunoglobulin Fc receptors. Background: Isotype controls are 1o antibodies, used as negative controls, that lack specificity to the target, but match the class & type of the 1o antibody used in the application. Applications: This isotype control antibody should be used at the same concentration as the primary antibody. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM & In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques & are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
