- Pierceable stopper manufactured from a special formulation of linear low-density polyethylene to ensure a leakproof seal during the procedure
- When the pipet is inserted into the vial, the diaphragm is designed to break away and the unit becomes a completely sealed system
- Eliminates all manipulation “techniques” in setting sample at the zero mark
- All excess blood flows into a closed, separate reservoir compartment automatically
- Includes a stoppered, pre-filled vial containing 0.2mL of 3.8% sodium citrate diluent
- Simply add 0.8mL of blood and mix
- Eliminates separate diluent preparation, dilution, and handling steps required in other systems
- Also available without diluent
