Description
Potassium Iodide is well-known for being the first drug in the successful treatment of human sporotrichosis. Today it is widely used for the treatment of various kinds of skin inflammation disorders such as erythema nodosum, subacute nodular migratory panniculitis, nodular vasculitis, erythema multiforme, and Sweet′s syndrome. On account of its low cost, it continues to be used for cutaneous and lymphocutaneous diseases.
