Description

Hydrophilic properties of the nylon fibers provide enhanced sample collection and release of the specimen into the media, ensuring a more representative sample for testing. Available in regular, nasopharyngeal, and urethral swab formats.

  • Improved specimen sampling for recovery of viruses, chlamydia, mycoplasma and ureaplasma
  • Plastic shaft with nylon flocked swab tip
  • 10mL polypropylene tube with screw cap, containing Multitrans medium with antibiotics and glass beads
  • Cytotoxicity testing completed

Nasopharyngeal Swab with 1mL Multitrans Media (22-146-450) is ideal for geriatric, pediatric and difficult collection sites. Reduced media volume minimizes concern of specimen dilution.
