Description

Unique automated design provides clean, dry benchtop storage, maintaining a user-determined low relative humidity. Uses 78% less nitrogen than comparable flowmeter-based systems. Fully integrated turnkey system has no external control boxes, requiring only one gas and one low voltage power connection for 30-second installation. As moisture-related degradation is eliminated, yields are optimized. With a quick-response feedback system that continuously monitors the humidity level and purges dry nitrogen only as needed, nitrogen is consumed very economically and cabinet seals are not stressed by ove-pressurization. The miniaturized LED monitor also displays the setpoint. Rigid stainless-steel doors (optional on plastic units) also protect the integrity of the cabinet seal, while a special vertical pressure lift latch prevents hinge and door damage caused by conventional latch twists and turns. A one-piece, nonadhesive, non-outgassing gasket will not sag or migrate in low humidity. (To ensure safe pressure relief, an optional Automatic RB valve is suggested, see below.)
Plastic SmartDessicator. Measures 18D × 18W × 25 1/4 in.H (45.7 × 45.7 × 64.1cm) for two chambers with clearance of 17 1/4W × 10 1/2 in.H (43.8 × 26.7cm) each. Feature chrome-plated wire racks to accommodate optional adjustable shelving (sold below). Optional stainless-steel door frame will extend the life of the plastic cabinet (see below).
Electropolished Stainless-Steel SmartDessicator. One-chamber unit features static-dissipative PVC front and rear viewing windows. Dimensions: 20 3/4D × 22W × 16 5/8 in.H (52.7 × 55.7 × 42.2cm), with door clearance of 20 1/4W ×14 1/2 in.H (51.4 × 36.8cm).
