Description
The Applied Biosystems VetMAX PEDV/TGEV/SDCoV Kit is a single-well multiplex real-time RT-PCR kit for the identification of the porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV), and swine delta corona virus (SDCoV) in environmental and feed samples.• 4 separate tests are run per sample in 1 well—no need to run several PCRs per virus

The kit includes:
• TaqMan Fast Virus 1-Step Master Mix
• VetMAX PEDV/TGEV/SDCoV Primer Probe Mix—for optimized multiplex real-time RT-PCR amplification of PEDV/TGEV/SDCoV RNA targets
• VetMAX PEDV/TGEV/SDCoV/Xeno Control RNA Mix
• VetMAX Xeno Positive Control RNA—serves as an internal positive control for the RNA purification process and a monitor for the presence of PCR inhibitors
Ease of use
All components for running the PCR are included in the kit. The sample preparation workflow has been tested with Applied Biosystems MagMAX sample extraction chemistry and Thermo Fisher KingFisher instruments. The kit has been validated for several sample types, eliminating the need for separate kits for each type. And this real-time PCR kit can be used with different thermocyclers, with the same results and reliability.
