Glass Expansion Platinum Skimmer Hot & Cold Plasma Thermo Q/RQ/TQ
Platinum Skimmer Cone, Cold and Hot Plasma (1341430) – Suitable for Thermo Q/RQ/TQ ICP-MS. Specifically designed to operate ONLY with the Cold Plasma Lens Kit (1341380). This skimmer cone can be used with the Cold Plasma Lens Kit to operate in both Cold (RF Power 550 W) and Hot Plasma conditions (RF Power 1550 W). Although the highest cost option compared to Ni, it is typically the most durable, longest-lasting, and because it runs hotter it requires less frequent cleaning. Use 10x Magnifier Inspection Tool with Built-In LED Illumination (NC2042261) to inspect cone orifice condition. Use Skimmer ConeGuard (70-803-1028) to protect cone threads during cleaning. When not in use, keep cones stored in original packaging for protection.For high matrix tolerance and high sensitivity, we recommend TG1048-Pt. More durable, longer-lasting, & because it runs hotter it requires less frequent cleaning. OpalMist DC Nebulizer 1.0mL/min, includes UniFit Connector with 0.5mm ID x 1.6mm OD x 700mm long tubing (1 pc) & DC Gas Fitting Type 31 with ratchet connector (1 pc). Compatible with Thermo Q, RQ and TQ.Optimum nebulizer gas flow rate is 1.0L/min & sample flow rate is 1.0mL/min. Recommended not to exceed optimum 1.0mL/min sample flow rate; however, lower gas & sample flow rates are OK. The backpressure should read ~40 psi at 1.0L/min gas flow rate.
