Metal chelating peptide Pep-1L-NOTA targets tumor-restricted receptor, IL13RA2, found to be present in some aggressive malignancies, specifically gliomas and malignant melanoma. Recent work has demonstrated that the copper-bound peptide selectively binds hIL13RA2-expressing tumors and validates its use in peptide-based PET imaging for cancer diagnostics.ONE-LETTER SEQUENCE: ACGEMGWVRCGGGS-C6-K-K(NOTA)-NH2MOLECULAR FORMULA: C84H139N27O25S3MOLECULAR WEIGHT:2023.36STORAGE CONDITIONS: -20 5CRESEARCH AREA: CancerREFERENCES: Sai, Kiran Kumar Solingapuram, et al.
