Pure carbon support films with no Formvar backing. This new product has an even thinner carbon film which is mounted on a Lacey carbon film. The carbon support layer lying over the holes is less than 3nm in thickness and is the thinnest support film available. It is particularly useful for high resolution microscopy of low contrast particles and is also ideal for use with the Energy Filtering TEM.
The simplicity of application and smooth, clean surfaces of PELCO Tabs™ Carbon Conductive Tabs are a significant improvement compared to many of the other common adhesives that have been used in SEM mounting. Both tab sides have a thick conductive adhesive (conductive inner tab is 35µm and the adhesive is 45µm on each side for a total thickness of 125µm [5 mils]) with a liner on both sides, a transparent liner and white liner respectively. They are ready for immediate use. The top protective liner does not have to be removed until the sample is ready to be mounted. This reduces possible contamination. Outgassing is negligible.
These unit measuring scales may be used directly under a microscope or magnifier for quick measuring of small specimens, parts, grooves, slots, line widths, holes, chambers, etc. Precision fabricated from stainless steel, the scales are welded to bendable stainless steel shafts and mounted in color coded, non-rolling handles. Each scale is individually packed in a plastic tube. Overall length of the scale is 83 mm (3 1/4"), including handle. Calibrated to 0.1mm, 10mm total
